The grade 4 students spent the day last Thursday building bird houses in the morning, then they traveled out to the Bold Multiplex to do some rock painting and seed planting. The painted rocks will be used inside the Bold Centre for a special wall. The students helped to plant 3 garden plots at the community garden. The vegetables from the garden will be harvested in the fall and given to the local food bank. We are looking for parent volunteers to go out every now and then to help with the weeding and watering of the gardens. For more information you can contact the school.

All of the grade five students will be spending the day, May 18th, outside at the Park learning about the Wetlands and conservation.

Welcome to Central Elementary School for 2009-2010!
Central Elementary School is located in the Town of Lac La Biche and offers instruction in grades four and five. Central Elementary has an enrollment of approximately 210 students with 13 professional and 14 support staff. The goal of Central Elemementary School is to work with the parents and the community in providing the students with programs which will develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to further their education.
